Bette

Since the Bette company was founded in Delbrück in 1952, several million baths have left the steel/enamel bath manufacturers' factory.

Presently more than 50,000 baths and showers are produced each month in the modern factory. Around 45 percent are exported, primarily to European countries, but also to Southeast Asia. Bette is a specialist for steel/enamel. With shaping and enamelling techniques exclusive to the company, around 500 different models are produced by about 270 employees.

A decision with a future.

Bette steel/enamel baths and trays are manufactured exclusively from the naturally based raw materials of steel, real glass and water that are available on our planet in almost inexhaustible quantities. Steel/enamel baths and trays are therefore 100% recyclable. Ultra-modern production processes enable the steel/enamel material to be transformed into an extremely durable, robust, long-lasting and recyclable product whose surface can only be destroyed by brute force.

Other important highlights:

  • Extremely sturdy thanks to the use of titanium steel
  • High impact strength and tough
  • Much more durable than iron, marble or plastic
  • Long service life - 30 year guarantee
  • Skin friendly and no loss of warmth through the material
  • Colour stable and non-fading even when subjected to UV rays
  • Resistant even to aggressive fluids and scouring agents
  • Inorganic surface is not a breeding ground for bacteria
  • Unique sparkling surface thanks to BETTEGLAZE®Enamel baths - the true warmth only becomes apparent when you get in.

It its dry state, enamel sometimes gives a somewhat "cooler" impression that acrylic at first touch - but what really counts is heat conductivity in actual use.

Having filled a Bette enamel bath with water, the excellent heat conductive properties of steel become apparent. Whilst taking a bath, the temperature reached by the steel/enamel even adds warmth to the slowly cooling water. The bath also pleasantly warms up in areas that lie "above" the water level such as around the neck area.

Beauty begins on the surface.

The BETTEGLAZE® enamel technology was developed by Bette in conjunction with Bayer AG and ensures superior colour brilliance as well as a visually smooth and easy-care surface. Thanks to this process, Bette boasts the best and most attractive enamel surface which is manufactured utilising ultramodern methods. The special Bette wet-in wet process makes BETTEGLAZE® particularly homogenous, ensuring easy cleaning, hygienic use and lasting durability.
